About Dagron

Dagron exists because the existing software-capitalization tooling assumed pull requests were the unit of work. That made sense in 2015, when one engineer might own a feature end-to-end across a handful of PRs. It does not make sense in 2026, when work spans planning tools, designers, PMs, QA, and dozens of contributors per project.

We're project-first. We classify Epics and Initiatives, not individual PRs. We pull from the planning tools your team actually uses. We integrate with your HRIS for accurate compensation. And we show our reasoning — every classification, every dollar, every asset.

The name is a small joke about a dragon's hoard: every quarter, real software assets quietly leave the balance sheet through operating expense. Dagron captures them — at the project level, with the documentation an auditor will accept.

We're early. If that's exciting, talk to us about being a design partner.
